Scholarships in Theatre Arts

The Department of Theatre and Dance offers a number of scholarships and merit awards for undergraduates. The Visual and Performing Arts Scholarships are awarded to entering freshmen and transfer students based on talent and experience. The deadline is in March (prior to beginning course work at WSU) and an audition is required; please contact the Department of Theatre and Dance for more information and application instructions.

Other endowed service scholarships are presented annually to active theatre students who exhibit achievement and dedication in theatre production and academics. Students must be nominated by theatre faculty for these awards.

In addition, all students are encouraged to apply for more than $50,000 in scholarships awarded by the College of Liberal Arts.
