Studying Theatre Arts and Drama

The Department of Theatre and Dance offers the serious drama student an excellent balance between hands-on production experience and the academic study of theatre arts. Active participation in production by any interested student (major or nonmajor) is highly encouraged.

The program offers a bachelor of arts and minor in theatre arts and drama.

Suggested Strengths, Interests, and Preparation
	A passion for creative, imaginative, and artistic expression.
	A sincere interest in studying all aspects of theatre.
	Knowledge of and exposure to plays and productions.
	Some previous theatre experience in high school, community theatre, or at the college or junior college level.
