Patty works closely with clients, student clinicians, and supervisors to provide speech, language, and hearing services through the WSU Pullman campus Speech and Hearing Clinic. She manages all clinic-related records, coordinates service delivery for student clinicians, and works closely with advising to ensure that student records are accurate and complete.
Patty is a native of Washington and grew up on a ranch in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Following receipt of her B.A. from the University of Idaho in 1971, she spent four years in San Luis Obispo, California. She has lived on the Palouse since then, working with the Moscow (Idaho) Chamber of Commerce and the University of Idaho prior to coming to WSU in 1984. She joined the WSU Speech and Hearing Clinic in 1985 and has been a member of the family ever since.
While her leisure time activities include gardening, horseback riding, skiing, reading, and hiking, she loves the challenge of the clinic and the satisfaction of meeting the needs of clients with speech and hearing concerns.
