Ruth Magnuson Roberts Scholarship

 

Award: Cash award of at least $500

Purpose: To honor undergraduate students studying sociology.

Eligibility: Undergraduate majors in the Department of Sociology with sophomore or junior standing and a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Application: Submission of a completed application form and a current Degree Audit Report or WSU transcript.

Criteria: Applicants must demonstrate both financial need and a strong academic performance.

Selection Procedures: The Awards Committee will review all applications and select the winning applicant.

Award Announcement: 

The winner will be notified by the Department Chair and a notice of recognition will be posted in the Department's display window outside the Department Office in Wilson-Short Hall. The award winner will be honored at the Department's annual spring banquet.
