Memorial Scholarship
Award: A one time award of up to $800 to defray costs of travel to a professional meeting.
Eligibility: Graduate students in the Department of Sociology who are in good academic standing, and who are working on their dissertations and entering into the job market.
Application: Memo to the Scholarship and Awards Committee chair outlining travel plans, purpose of travel, and estimate of travel expenses.
Criteria: Candidate must be ABD and on the job market.
Selection Criteria: Awards based on the merits of the request.
Award Announcement:
Requests for Depew scholarship funds may be made throughout the academic year. Notification of award will be made by Awards Committee chair.
