Anderson Scholarship
Award Name: Roberta Cline Frasier Anderson Scholarship
Award: Up to $1,800 Tuition Scholarship
Purpose: To recognize women students who return to college to complete their academic training in sociology or social work.
Eligibility: Female undergraduate students majoring in sociology.
Application: Submission of completed application form, and a current Degree Audit Report or WSU transcript.
Criteria: Financial need is a major consideration. Students must demonstrate particular promise for an active career in sociology or social work and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Selection Procedures: The Awards Committee will review all applications and select the winning applicant.
Award Announcement: The winner will be notified by the Department Chair and a notice of recognition will be posted in the Department's display window outside the Department Office in Wilson Hall. The award winner will be recognized at the Department's annual Spring banquet.
