Current and/or Anticipated Research

Currently I am working on an analysis of sociodemographic changes following the citing of TSDFs (EPA designated Transfer, Storage, and Disposal Facilities for hazardous waste). Specifically, I (with the assistance of Greg Hooks) am examining whether sociodemographic characteristics (minority and impoverished percentage) of neighborhoods around these TSDFs change as a result of their establishment.
