Scholarship and Awards

The Department of Sociology offers seven scholarships and awards to eligible undergraduate Sociology majors.  Each scholarship and award reflects the interests and desires of its donor. They range from $500 to $4000.  All eligible undergraduate Sociology majors are welcome to apply for Sociology Department scholarships and awards at the beginning of Spring semester; awards are announced in April.

Washington State University undergraduates are also encouraged to apply for University-wide scholarships by completing the University scholarship application during Fall semester.  Completing this application enables students to be considered for an additional set of scholarships and awards through the College of Liberal Arts.  Students are encouraged to complete a new scholarship application every year, since student eligibility changes as do the availability of actual awards and scholarships.
