Areas of Research Interest: Deviant Behavior, Criminology and Delinquency, Alcohol and Drugs

Current Research Interests: In addition to my position as Associate Dean of the Graduate School, most of my current time is spent administering the WSU McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The program is designed to prepare low-income, first-generation college students, and students from groups traditionally underrepresented in higher education, for eventual doctoral study through instruction and involvement in a research experience. I maintain a continued, though limited interest, in research on adolescent alcohol and drug use, and on juvenile delinquency generally.
