Mock Trial Team

Mock Trial is the ultimate courtroom simulation, where students compete against teams from other schools. All focus on the same case, which varies yearly from a bench trial to a jury trial or a sentence hearing. WSU's team members meet regularly beginning in the fall to learn the facts of the case and relevant law, practice courtroom decorum, and scrimmage.

Founded in 2003, the WSU Mock Trial Team quickly established itself in regional competitions as a team to watch, earning the right to compete at national championship tournaments every year since 2006.
