Pre-law Option
Student must complete 42 hours of course work, 21 of which must be earned at Washington State University. Students must complete 24 hours of political science, including:

- Pol S 404 [M]
- Pol S 443
- Pol S elective
- Crm J 101
- Crm J 320, 420, or equivalent
- Engl 201 or 301
- Phil 201
- A course in public speaking, argumentation
- An introductory course in economics

University Writing Requirements
- Two (2) Writing in the Major [M] courses (6 hours) from Pol S 404, 405, 424, 432, 438, 442, 446, 447, 450, 472, 476
- Junior Writing Portfolio/Qualifying Exam (Portfolio and proficiency exam required no later than first semester after earning 60 credits.)
Foreign Language Requirement
2 years high school or 1 year college (in same language)
