Highlight Events

All festival events are open to the public and free of charge. Seating for the free gala concert on Saturday will be assigned; tickets will be available beginning one hour before the performance.

Tuesday, March 30

WSU Percussion EnsembleWSU Percussion Ensemble

The Washington State University Percussion Ensemble, directed by Dave Jarvis, will present a preview performance of works prepared for the April 3 gala concert.

The WSU Spring Drumline, directed by Brent Edwards, will also be performing.

This documentary film explores the connections between sound, rhythm, time, and the body by following percussionist Evelyn Glennie, who is nearly deaf.

Local students have the opportunity to perform for Glennie and receive feedback.

Northwest Percussion Festival Gala Concert
Featuring Evelyn Glennie, accompanied by the WSU Percussion Ensemble.
7:30 p.m. | Bryan Hall Theatre

This event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and will be assigned. Tickets for assigned seating will be available in the lobby of Bryan Hall Theatre on the day of the performance beginning at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m.
