Orchestra Festival

WSU/WASTA High School/Junior High Orchestra Festival

Friday, November 7, 2014

Dr. Matthew Aubin, Festival Director

The Washington State University Symphony Orchestra along with WASTA are pleased to inaugurate an orchestra festival designed to assist high school and junior high school orchestra programs in providing an early, motivational opportunity for musical growth in a non-competitive, positive environment. The Orchestra Festival is meant to excite, encourage and educate students, developing a spirit of camaraderie and commitment. As an early festival, we offer the opportunity to receive feedback from respected clinicians who will help identify technical/expressive projects, involve your students in setting goals for the year and provide meaningful contact time with you and your orchestra.

Dr. Stephen Radcliffe, music director of
the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra, will serve as the Orchestra Festival’s guest artist.
