Heidi Jarvis is in her sixteenth season as Conductor of the Pullman Community Symphonic Band. She is an Instructor of Music at Washington State University and has taught music education technical courses, student teacher supervision, and introduction to arts administration. Ms. Jarvis is a member of the Teacher Education Committee and is the Conductor for the Washington State FFA state convention band held annually in Pullman, Washington.
Ms. Jarvis has been Director of Bands and Choir in both private and public school districts. She has served as clinician and adjudicator at local and state levels and is published in the Leblanc Bell Quarterly Educator's Viewpoint. Ms. Jarvis wrote and recorded a vocal selection and assisted in the production of a CD with Viswanath K.N., composer and managing director, Theems Entertainment of India.
As an education administrator grant writer, Ms. Jarvis joined the Corporate and Foundation Relations team as the Development Coordinator at the Washington State University Foundation.
She is the recipient of several awards including the most recent Pullman Chamber of Commerce Civic Improvement Award presented for outstanding contribution to the improvement of the community and citizen relations.Heading using the h3tag
