Nighthawk
Nighthawk is a faculty ensemble that features hard driving, fiery saxophones and an emphasis on high energy improvisation. Individually, these musicians have performed with the top figures in jazz including Randy Brecker, Tom Harrell, David Friesen, Mal Waldron, Gabe Baltazar, Bill Watrous, Jim Pugh and Marvin Stamm. The group performs a mix of original compositions written by members of the ensemble and jazz standards.
