Biography
Amber LaPiana is a PhD Candidate at Washington State University. She received her her MA from the University of Massachusetts, Boston and her BFA in Writing/Literature/Publishing from Emerson College.
Research and Teaching Interests
Amber is currently at work on her dissertation, which establishes a relationship between trends in cartography and regional literature by American women writers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. She is currently the senior editorial associate for Poe Studies: History, Theory, Interpretation.
