Diversity
The Digital Diversity project is dedicated to supporting all efforts
to improve the amount and quality of "digital diversity." The Digital
Diversity Project's most important contribution will be through
the new Master's degree track in the WSU American Studies Program.
This track will train students simultaneously in a multicultural
understanding of the nation's past and present, and in technical
aspects of new media production.

includes faculty members and graduate students from multiple departments
on the Pullman and Vancouver campuses along with web professionals
outside of the university.
Homelessness and Poverty Project
The Homelessness and Poverty Project uses a variety of programs
to address poverty. Current efforts center around working with homeless
people and organizations to improve technological literacy. The
project is based out of the Vancouver campus, but programs with
pending grant applications would extend the Homelessness and Poverty
Project’s reach across the state and nationwide.
