Dean's Excellence Fund
A flexible fund that supports the highest priorities of the dean, allowing the college to sponsor unique or newly-arising opportunities. In recent years, the Dean's Excellence Fund has:
- Assisted the WSU Mock Trial Team with travel expenses to attend the national tournament.
- Sent communication students on a road trip to interview successful alumni and document their experiences.
- And much more!
Liberal Arts Scholarship Fund
Provides scholarships to liberal arts students with financial need, to help ensure their commitment to studies at WSU. May also be used for scholarships to recruit or retain top students.
Future Cougars of Color Fund
Provides scholarships to liberal arts students of color with financial need, to help ensure their commitment to studies at WSU. May also be used for scholarships to recruit or retain students of color.
Department & Program Development Funds
Individual development funds support the highest priorities of the departments and programs within the College of Liberal Arts.
Funds may be used to provide scholarships and fellowships, cover travel expenses for students attending conferences or competitions, support excellence in teaching by funding pressing technological and research needs, promote student research efforts, give majors support for their organizations, and bring guest speakers to campus.
