Paul Whitney
Senior Associate Dean for Research & Graduate Education
Dr. Whitney is professor and former chair of psychology. His responsibilities include:
- Graduate education.
- Research.
- Stimulation and coordination of federal, state, and foundation grant proposals.
- Participating in meetings (college leadership, chairs/directors, dean's staff, and committees) as appropriate.
- Collaborating with the other associate deans and dean in authoring promotion, tenure, and third-year review statements.
- Advancing the college's commitment to diversity and multiculturalism in all activities.
- Other duties as assigned by the dean.
As senior associate dean, he also:
- Substitutes for the dean at key meetings and events that the dean cannot attend.
- Supports the dean and acts on his behalf when necessary in budgetary and personnel actions.
