Paul Whitney
Dr. Whitney is a professor and former chair of psychology. As Associate Dean for Agency-Funded Research, he:
- Coordinates agency-funded research efforts of the college, with assistance and collaboration from the college finance officer and other staff, including documentation, research awards and recognition, and interdisciplinary research workgroups as appropriate.
- Coordinates TA supplemental award allocations from the Graduate School.
- Collaborates with other associate deans and the dean in authoring promotion, tenure, and third-year review statements.
- Participates in meetings—college leadership, chairs/directors, dean’s staff and its subgroups, and committees related to duties—as appropriate.
- Advances the college’s commitment to diversity and multiculturalism among the college’s faculty, staff, students, research, teaching, and community outreach, with relevant programs, goals, and activities.
