Career Opportunities
We live in a globalized village where knowledge of diverse ways of life and value systems is necessary for everyday life. Today's college graduates need to be versed adequately in multiple cultural practices in an increasingly diverse United States and a more interdependent world. Increasing numbers of transnational corporations, local businesses, law firms, graduate schools, and service organizations now require prospective employees to be conversant with, and critically conscious of, the challenges of a culturally diverse environment.
CES graduates are excellent candidates for graduate or professional schools in law, education, journalism, business, medicine, public health, social work, urban planning, international relations, politics, counseling, creative writing, as well as research or administrative work in various public or private agencies.
CES graduates also have successfully pursued careers as community leaders, managers in international business, and activists in nonprofit sectors of society.
A degree in CES will provide the necessary foundation for a satisfying career in the 21st century.
