CES Departmental Awards
To encourage scholarly development among our students, the Department of Comparative Ethnic Studies has established the CES Departmental Awards for students majoring and minoring in CES.
These awards are presented to majors who have written outstanding papers during the academic year.
The awards are determined by the CES Awards Committee and presented at the end of the year.
Sophie Nicole Leonard Memorial Award/Scholarship
The Sophie Nicole Leonard Memorial Award/Scholarship is based on achieving social justice through scholarly endeavors and/or work within the community.
The application deadline for this award has been extended to Wed., April 27, 2011. The award will be given this spring semester.
