Biography
Rory Ong is an associate professor at Washington State University in the department of Comparative Ethnic Studies where he teaches graduate and undergraduate course work in Rhetoric, Ethnic Studies, and Asian American Studies. He is also the interim director of the graduate program in American Studies. His research interests cover Classical and Enlightenment Rhetoric, Race and Ethnicity Theory, Cultural and Critical Theory, and Asian American Literature. He is currently working on an anthology Of Color: Asian American Literature (Prentice Hall). Professor Ong received his Ph.D. in English from Miami University of Ohio in 1992.
