Rory Ong
Associate Professor
Ph.D., Miami University of Ohio
Dr. Ong teaches graduate and undergraduate course work in rhetoric, ethnic studies, and Asian American studies. He has also served as interim director of the graduate program in American studies.
His research interests cover classical and Enlightenment rhetoric, race and ethnicity theory, cultural and critical theory, and Asian American literature.
His recent publications include articles on Asian American rhetoric, Asian Americans and hunting, and he is currently writing an article on transnational adoption.
Dr. Ong received his Ph.D. in English from Miami University of Ohio in 1992.
