Stephen is currently teaching CES 209, Hip-Hop Around the Globe for the Fall 2013 semester. In the past, he has taught CES 101, Introduction to Comparative Ethnic Studies; CES 111, Introduction to Asian American Studies; and CES 260, Race and Racism in U.S. Popular Culture.

Research Interests

His primary research/interest areas include Filipino/Filipino-American studies, specifically apathy towards Fil/Fil-Am social movements; race and ethnic studies.
