Talk back to ask.

Greetings from Dean Couture

We hope you will enjoy this inaugural issue of ask. magazine, the latest creative endeavor of the College of Liberal Arts at Washington State University.

The magazine is our answer, in part, to a complex question, “How do we keep our liberal arts faculty and alumni connected to support a shared vision of what liberal arts education is and can be?” We hope, even if it is in a small way, this magazine will help bring us together to answer that question.

We believe very strongly that common values connect our faculty and
students with every liberal arts graduate. Values that we think you will find apparent as you read the profiles of the faculty, students, and alumni featured in this and subsequent issues. Values that we share with you.

We are eager to receive your feedback on this, our very first issue. Please tell us about those people, places and things related to liberal arts education at Washington State University that you would like to see featured here in the future.

Warm Regards,

Barbara Couture
