Study Abroad in Asia Scholarship
This scholarship has been established by the faculty members of the Asia Program at Washington State University to encourage WSU students to participate in a study abroad experience in Asia.

| Eligibility and Guidelines | |
| 1. | Applicants must be in good academic standing. |
| 2. | Sophomore status or above at the time of study abroad. |
| 3. | Have completed a minimum of 6 credit hours in Asia Program courses, or their equivalent. |
| 4. | Be accepted into a WSU Education Abroad approved credit-bearing study abroad program in East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, or the Middle East. |
| 5. | Scholarship is open to students from any major. |
| 6. | Preference is given to students who have not previously studied or lived for an extended period of time in Asia. |
| 7. | The selection committee will take into account the suitability of the applicant’s proposed study plan, the ability of the applicant to participate in the language of instruction at the institution to be attended, demonstrated interest in the study of Asia (e.g., classes taken, languages studied, events attended), financial need, and potential for growth and development. |
| 8. | To apply: please submit the Education Abroad Scholarship Application, also available in Bryan 105. |
