Museum of Anthropology

Museum Collections

The Museum of Anthropology has custody of collections representing the past ca. 11,000 years in eastern Washington state. Collections also include ethnographic items (dating from about the time of European contact) from other areas of North America, especially the western United States.

Exhibits based on the collections can be viewed during the museum's regular hours, and researchers can make appointments to study the stored ethnographic collections or archaeologic collections.
