IRAS Conference

IRAS Conference – Saturday, September 28, 2013

The Anthropology Graduate Organization (AGO) at Washington State University is pleased to announce the first-annual Interdisciplinary Research in Anthropology and the Sciences (IRAS) conference, to be held on September 28th, 2013 in the Senior Ballroom of the Compton Union Building at WSU. The IRAS conference will highlight interdisciplinary research relating to the study of humanity, past and present, and how that research is shaping our future. "Hard science" methods, when applied to long-standing questions in anthropology, are powerful tools for understanding and improving the human experience. The conference will be a one day event composed of paper presentations and a poster session with a keynote lecture at the end of the day.
