Noël Sturgeon

 

Noël Sturgeon is an Associate Professor and Director of Women’s Studies. She teaches courses on race, gender and the environment.

She is the author of Ecofeminist Natures: Race, Gender, Feminist Theory and Environmental Politics (Routledge, 1998).

She has been a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Cultural Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz, at Murdoch University in Perth, Australia, and at the Freie Universitat in Berlin, Germany.

She is currently has another book manuscript under contract, Politics of the Natural: Race, Gender, Sexuality and the Nature of Culture.
