Laurie Mercier

 

Laurie Mercier is Associate Professor of History at WSU-Vancouver and Program Director of the Center for Columbia River History. Her research and publications focus on workers and labor, identity, gender, region and community.

She has a book contract with University of Illinois Press for her manuscript, Smelter City: Labor, Gender, and Cultural Politics in Anaconda, Montana, 1934-1980 (2003).
