| WSU's internationalization efforts also include administering a major grant from the United States Information Agency to create over the next three years an American Studies curriculum for the newly independent state of Ukraine. The project involves numerous scholarly exchanges, with WSU faculty and graduate students going to Ukraine, and Ukrainian scholars coming here to WSU. The project is clearly one from which all involved will learn much, with parochialisms on both sides creatively challenged.
